Topsoil & Mulch Delivery in Franklin, TN

Topsoil & Mulch · Franklin, TN

It Is in the Name

Mulch is our first name, and hauling is half our business — so topsoil and mulch delivery around Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill and across Williamson County is about as core as our work gets. We deliver screened topsoil for lawns and beds, fill dirt for holes and low spots, and mulch by the load, on trucks we own and drive ourselves. You point, we dump — or the same crew spreads and grades it so the pile never sits on your driveway at all.

Because the dirt side of the business digs, screens and moves material every week, you are buying from people who know exactly what is on the truck. Topsoil that will actually grow grass, fill that compacts, mulch that came from cleared Middle Tennessee timber — and straight answers about how many loads your project really needs.

What We Handle

  • Screened topsoil by the truckload
  • Fill dirt for holes, pads and low spots
  • Mulch loads for beds and ground cover
  • Gravel runs for drives on request
  • Dump-and-go or spread-and-graded
  • Honest load counts sized to your project
  • Our own trucks and drivers, local dirt
  • Delivery windows that hold

Topsoil, Fill and Mulch — What Each Is For

Topsoil is the growing layer: screened, dark and loose, for finishing a regraded yard, building up beds, or fixing the scars construction leaves. Fill dirt is structure: cheaper, denser material for raising grade, packing holes and building pads — it goes under things, not around plants. Mulch is the cover: beds, trails and cleared ground, holding moisture and keeping the weeds honest.

Ordering the wrong one is the most common (and most avoidable) money-waster in yard work — fill where topsoil should go grows nothing, and topsoil used as fill settles. Tell us what the ground is supposed to do when you call, and we will put the right material on the truck.

How Much Do You Need?

Dirt math is simple and everyone hates doing it: length times width times depth, divided into cubic yards. An inch or two of topsoil across an average suburban yard is a load or three; a serious regrade or a new-build finish can run well past that. Give us the rough dimensions and what you are fixing, and we will size the order honestly — including telling you when you need less than you think.

Delivery is by the truckload, and the trucks are real dump trucks, not a trailer behind a pickup. If access is tight — gates, septic fields, soft ground — say so when you order and we will plan where the load lands before the truck is in your driveway.

Dumped Is Cheap, Spread Is Finished

Plenty of customers just want the pile: dumped clean, tarped location, weekend project. Happy to. But the same crew that delivers can bring the machine, spread the load to grade, and leave the yard seed-ready the same day — which, for a regrade or a full-yard topdress, usually beats a week of wheelbarrow evenings by a distance you can feel in your back.

Spread work ties into everything else on this site: grading sets the fall, topsoil finishes the surface, and landscaping plants into it. If your delivery is really the first step of a bigger yard fix, start with the walk-through instead of the load — it is free, and the plan will save you money on the dirt itself.

How We Work

How a Job With E&S Runs

From the first walk of the property to the final one, here is exactly how it goes.

1

Walk the Property

We come out and walk the ground with you: what is growing, where the water goes, what the dirt is hiding, and what you actually want the property to become.

2

Straight Quote

You get a free written quote with a real timeline. It names what happens to stumps, spoil and debris, and it flags honest risks like shallow rock before any machine rolls.

3

We Do the Work

The equipment shows up when we said it would — machines and trucks both ours. We clear, dig, grade and haul to the plan, and you hear about anything unexpected immediately.

4

Final Walk-Through

We walk the finished ground together. Grades checked, debris gone, surface left seed-ready or build-ready as the plan called for. Done means you say it is done.

FAQ

Topsoil & Mulch Questions, Answered

Common questions about topsoil & mulch across Williamson & Rutherford counties, south of Nashville. Don't see yours? Give us a call — we're happy to help.

Call (615) 599-7550

How much is a load of topsoil delivered in the Franklin area?
It depends on material and how far you are from the yard, so call (615) 599-7550 with your location and what you are doing, and you will get a straight per-load price. No brokers, no middleman markup — our dirt, our trucks, our drivers.
How many yards of topsoil do I need?
Length times width in feet, times depth in inches, divided by 324 — that is your cubic yards. Or skip the math: give us the dimensions and what you are fixing, and we will size it honestly, including telling you when one load is plenty.
Is your topsoil screened?
The topsoil we sell for lawns and beds is screened growing material — not scraped subsoil with rocks in it. If your project actually calls for cheaper unscreened fill, we will tell you that and save you the difference.
Can you spread it, or just dump it?
Both. Dump-and-go is the budget option; spread-and-graded means the same crew brings a machine and leaves the ground finished to grade, seed-ready. For anything bigger than topping off a few beds, spreading is usually worth it.
Where will the truck dump the load?
Wherever you point that the truck can safely reach — driveway, pad, tarp on the lawn. Loaded dump trucks are heavy, so keep them off septic fields and soft ground; tell us about gates and tight access when you order and we will plan the drop before we roll.
