Questions About Clearing Your Ground? Straight Answers.
These are the questions property owners around Franklin ask us most: what
we handle, what happens to stumps and debris, what things cost, and when to
schedule. Don't see yours? Call us and ask the crew directly.
We work out of Franklin and cover roughly a 20-mile radius south of Nashville: Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville, Thompson’s Station, Fairview, College Grove, Arrington and Leiper’s Fork in Williamson County, plus Smyrna, La Vergne and Eagleville on the Rutherford County side. If you are south of the Davidson County line and inside that circle, you are in our territory.
Do you work in Nashville?
No — and on purpose. We keep the crews and trucks south of the Davidson County line so our schedules stay tight for the Williamson and Rutherford county customers we serve. If your property is in Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill or anywhere else on our map, that policy works in your favor.
What services do you offer?
Land clearing, forestry mulching, grading and grade work, excavation, site preparation, topsoil and mulch delivery, dirt hauling, and landscaping with ongoing maintenance — residential and commercial both. If your project involves dirt, brush or the finished landscape on top of them, it is probably on our truck.
How long have you been in business?
Since 1996. Mid South Mulch & Outdoor Services has been clearing, shaping and finishing ground around Franklin and Williamson County for about thirty years — same name, same ground, and a lot of the same customers coming back project after project.
How much will my project cost?
Every honest answer starts with a walk of the property, because dirt and brush hide their variables: growth density, stem size, rock, access, and how much material has to move. The walk-through and the written quote are free, and the number holds unless the scope changes. What we do not do is guess over the phone.
Do you haul away debris, or does it get burned?
We run our own dump trucks, so anything that needs to leave — brush, stumps, spoil, tear-out debris — gets loaded and hauled off as part of the job. Where it makes better sense to grind brush in place, forestry mulching turns it into ground cover and nothing leaves at all. No burn piles either way.
Can one crew really handle the whole project?
That is the whole design of the company. Clearing, dirt work, trucking and landscaping are all in-house, so a lot can go from thicket to build-ready pad — or from torn-up yard to finished landscape — without you coordinating three contractors. One quote, one schedule, one phone number.
How do I get started?
Call (615) 599-7550 or send the quick form on this site. We will talk through what you have, walk the property with you, and get you a free written quote with a real timeline. You will be talking to the people who run the equipment, not a call center.
